When she was born I did not want a bitch - never mind a o/w. But but she was never going to leave me - as soon as she was mobile, she would sit in front of me staring and following me everywhere.
She made her show debut in July 1998 at the Southern Pointer Champ Show, she took BPIS under Des Mcgarry. she was a consistent bitch on the English show circuit, but it was in Southern Ireland she really came into her own. She won her title quite quickly as we went on the Munster circuit. In 1999 she won 2 cc's and 3 Majors then in March 2000 we went over for the big St Patrick's day show (Irelands equivalent of Crufts) where she took the CC, BOB, CACIB and was graded excellent. She then went on and took group 3 - such a special day for me.
I knew she only wanted one more ticket to be made up, so in May 2000 again we made the trip to Ireland for the Irish Pointer Clubs Champ show. The judge was none other than Des Mcgarry and he gave her the CC and BIS. She is now in her 8th year. Her hobbies are rabbiting , eating and lots of cuddles.
