History

As a child in 1976 I first came into contact with the Pointer Breed when my mother acquired one from a race horse trainer called Kate. All my spare time was spent with her and my ponies. I promised myself when I was old enough I would get one of my own.

In 1988 a lemon and white pointer called Tess came into my life. We rescued her from a terrace house in Leicester. She was only 6 months old, very thin and terrified she was being ill-treated I was certainly not going to leave her there!

She proved a beautiful companion and working bitch, but tragically she was taken away in 1990 at nearly 3 years old as she had an enlarged heart. I didn't think I could face having another pointer as I worshipped Tess so much.

Quite by chance in 1992 I saw an advert for a litter in our local supermarket and a special b/w dog came into my life who was to prove to be the foundation of my kennel his name was Oikos Theseus (Tom to his friends).
